Assessment

These courses are all assessed through a portfolio of evidence; some also require an online assessment.

Destinations

All courses support the development of subject-specific skills, allowing learners to progress to higher-level qualifications in their chosen area of study. Alternatively, learners who complete these qualifications gain the skills necessary to move into the workplace and pursue careers in these trades.

About These Qualifications:

These foundation courses are designed to enable learners to access vocational qualifications from Entry Level 1 through to Level 2, depending on their level of learning.

They can also complete varying sizes of qualifications at each level, from Award through to Diploma. Being able to build up achievement in incremental stages can help support intrinsic motivation for learners, whilst developing character education.
