ATTFE College held their Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in July 2024. This event aimed to support the delivery of the National School Games priorities, engaging young people in physical activity and movement in a fun and creative way. Children attending from Croft Primary School, Kingsway Primary School, and Leamington Primary School took part in a Mad Hatter’s dash around the park, as well as an Alice in Wonderland themed dance. Alice and the White Rabbit were also present, providing lots of fun for the children involved.

ATTFE College was supported by local partners in making the event happen, including Believe Academy and B Taylors and Son Transport LTD, who provided a truck that acted as the stage for the event. Nottinghamshire Police were also present, and the children enjoyed looking at the police van and taking part in activities provided by the local police team.

“The event provided an inspiring opportunity for young people to take part in physical activity and cultural activity in a local park while celebrating British values in a fun and creative way. We are grateful for all the support provided by the partners involved to make this such a special event for all the young people attending,” said Dianne Holmes, Head of Curriculum Strategy and Partnerships, ATTFE College.
