ATTFE College is thrilled to announce the opening of a new community hub in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, offering lifelong learning and further education opportunities for people of all ages.

The hub will host free weekly community coffee mornings and a growing programme of accessible courses designed to bring people together, develop new skills, and create fresh opportunities for residents across the area.

College Principal, Liz Barrett, said:
“The opening of our new community learning space in Kirkby reflects our ongoing commitment to making education accessible, welcoming, and embedded in the heart of our communities. We are proud to build on the success of our Idlewells and Low Street facilities in Sutton and to work closely with residents and partners to ensure this new space meets local needs.”

The free community coffee mornings will run every Monday from 10am to 12 noon, providing a welcoming space for residents to connect, share ideas, and explore learning opportunities.

This new hub marks another step in ATTFE College’s mission to bring education and community closer together, empowering people to grow, learn, and thrive.
