The 2021/22 ATTFE College Programme of Study curriculum has been revised during half term to ensure that main aim learning is completed by the 24th June 2022 to dedicate the last three weeks of term to work experience.
The rational for this is that in the Autumn term work experience was nearly impossible linked to Covid-19 and on many levels has remained challenging since because of it. Locally we are now in a much better place regarding Covid-19 and its impact so are seizing the opportunity presented. It is really important to ATTFE College that we ensure learners have valuable and meaningful work experience this year as we recognise and appreciate that Covid-19 has in many cases impaired learners social and emotional development opportunities. We are therefore keen to expose learners to work experience and all of the soft skills that can be explored and experienced in the process.
