ATTFE College is delighted to be working in partnership with Ashfield District Council and the Government’s UK Shared Prosperity Fund to support the development of digital skills in the Ashfield area. This initiative has been created in response to the digital skills gap within the district, aiming to equip individuals with essential digital knowledge for everyday life.
Our programme offers a range of sessions designed to help individuals develop practical digital skills, including:
- Effectively using a mobile phone
- Downloading and using apps
- Searching for jobs online and creating CVs to support employment progression
- Accessing digital forms and systems, such as Universal Credit accounts
- Using digital devices to connect with family and friends
- Raising awareness of online safety
Once enrolled, participants will receive guidance on accessing further courses, training, and, where relevant, employment opportunities—all while working to reduce the digital skills gap in our local community.
