We have a number of exciting courses linked to Catering coming up in our community venues!
All of our catering courses are taught by tutors with years of industry experience who will pass their knowledge and skills on to you to use in your everyday life and beyond.
Mondays, 9.30 – 3pm, 11th September – 11th December 2023
This course will cover all the basic skills needed in a kitchen, from everyday cooking to making a seasonal dessert.
Tuesdays, 9.30 – 3pm, 5th September – 12th December 2023
This course will gain you confidence and save your family and friends money by decorating your own cakes. You will acquire cake decorating to produce birthday cakes and more.
Thursdays, 9.30 – 3pm, 7th September – 14th December 2023
This course is for anyone who wants to expand their skills in the world of sugarcraft. This course will enable you to develop your sugarcraft skills and techniques to make cakes to a professional standard. Course will cover making a range of petal paste flowers, wiring sprays, to brush embroidery and other various sugarcraft techniques.
Fridays, 9.30 – 3pm, 8th September – 15th December 2023
This course will help you achieve knowledge and skills to further your progression in the catering environment. You will learn key skills in food production and cooking as well as food hygiene practices.
Mondays, 9.30 – 3pm, 11th September – 11th December 2023
This course will look at the different desserts and cuisines from around the world. Expand your knowledge and culinary skills to impress family and friends with your creations.
Tuesdays, 9.30 – 3pm, 5th September – 12th December 2023
This would be looking at the world of baking, and would like a little extra confidence to take your bakes to the next level. This will cover core baking techniques to your baking brilliance. You will learn all the practical tips and tricks on how to bring flair to their creations.
Wednesdays, 9.30 – 3pm, 6th September – 13th December 2023
This course will you will learn how to cook various dishes using an Air Fryer. Learn tips and tricks to save time money in cooking with an Air Fryer.
Fridays, 9.30 – 3pm, 8th September – 15th December 2023
This course will cover all aspects of catering. From cooking all time family favourites, classic cakes and divine desserts.
