Linda started her career by training as a Dietitian and Food Scientist and worked on product development and quality control until she had a family. She trained then as a teacher in FE and worked at Burton College for 23 years, initially teaching Science and Human Biology, then running Access to HE programmes and the Sixth Form, eventually finishing as a Faculty Head.

Linda joined AIM Awards as CEO in 2006 when it was still part of NOCN and has taken the organisation through the change to AIM Awards, an independent Awarding Organisation regulated by Ofqual, QAA, CCEA and Qualifications Wales and more recently as an End Point Assessment organisation currently in the Creative Sector.

On a personal level, Linda has been married for over 40 years and has 2 daughters and 3 grandchildren. Linda is chair of Governors at Moira Primary School and has been on the governing body there for over 5 years. In her spare time, Linda enjoys reading, walking, being with the family and visiting her house in Central France.
